Elite (cinematic video, extended aerials, on-site creative direction) is a second shoot on a camera and gimbal, which is why it steps above Standard at every size. Add-ons (extra aerials, virtual twilights, ANSI / GLA floor plan, virtual staging, declutter, coming-soon teaser) are à la carte on top of any package.

( Add-ons )

À la carte. On top of any residential package.

Add at booking, or after the shoot. Delivered with the rest of the media in the same 24-hour window. Revisions to existing files run on a 5-day window. Commercial add-ons are folded into the project quote instead.

Aerial photos $145

8–12 edited HDR aerials of the property and grounds. Add to Photo or Drone Tour to round out exterior coverage.

Virtual twilight $65

Daytime exterior re-rendered as a warm dusk shot. Per image. Ready in the same 24-hour window.

ANSI / GLA floor plan $125

CubiCasa-certified ANSI Z765-2021 measurement report, MLS-suitable for the listed gross living area.

Virtual staging / declutter $30 / room

Empty rooms furnished digitally, or cluttered rooms cleaned up. Pillows, mail, cords, kid stuff removed without a re-shoot. Per room, either direction.

Coming-soon teaser $145

5 exterior photos plus a virtual twilight, delivered ahead of go-live for social, SMS, and pre-launch email blasts.

Local highlights $120 – $170

High-volume agents: 15% off everything.

If you're shooting 4 or more listings a month, the monthly retainer takes a flat 15% off every package (Photo, Drone Tour, Standard, Elite) plus priority scheduling and one consolidated invoice. No minimum term.

Track 02 Commercial · quoted per project All tracks
( Starts at · quoted per project )

Commercial, quoted per project. Here is where it starts.

Every commercial job is scoped individually, square footage, interior vs exterior mix, edit depth, and timeline all move the number. These are the honest floors each line starts from, not a bait rate.

  • Ground / interior photography HDR interiors, front-of-house, product and space stills for leasing decks, menus, and web. from $400
  • Aerial photography Standalone exterior aerials with a commercial usage license. OM packages, broker decks, site context. from $400
  • FPV walkthrough One continuous flythrough of the space, delivered as a hero cut plus a vertical social version. from $600
  • Full package (all three) Ground stills, aerials, and the FPV walkthrough shot in one visit, delivered together. from $1,000

FAA Part 107 certified · $1M liability insured · Certificate of insurance with additional insured endorsement, usually same-day.

Track 03 Venues & events · showcase + event day All tracks
( Starts at · quoted per venue )

A venue's real KPI is site visits. That is what this buys.

Digital enquiries convert far below the couple who actually walks the property, so the job of venue media is to turn a browser into a booked tour. An FPV walkthrough is the closest thing to standing in the room. Priced above a single commercial property because a venue is every event space, not one.

  • Venue showcase An FPV walkthrough of every event space, grounds and exterior aerials, HDR stills of each room, plus vertical cuts sized for weekly social. The virtual tour that turns a browser into a site visit. from $1,200
  • Event-day coverage Ceremony and reception captured live. A 60 to 90 second highlight plus a 3 to 4 minute extended cut, delivered in 5 to 7 business days. Quoted by duration, crew count, and delivery window. from $1,750
  • Seasonal refresh Two or four shoots a year so the library always matches the season a couple is booking into. Multi-venue portfolios and event-space groups get volume pricing. Quoted by cadence
Track 04 Production · day rate by rig All tracks
( Cinema-grade FPV )

Production runs on a day rate, not a package.

Commercials, music videos, branded content, and automotive. Three tiers, set by the rig and the camera body the shoot needs. Travel inside the Charlotte metro and same-day OCN handoff are included at every tier.

Native FPV
$1,750 / day rate

Prosumer FPV kit, Log 4K. Commercials where FPV is one unit of many, branded content, fast-turn music videos.

Cinelifter · Blackmagic G2
$2,800 / day rate

12-bit BRAW, native 4K sensor. Broadcast-acceptable cinema look with a proper grading color space.

Cinelifter · RED Komodo 6K
$4,200 / day rate

R3D workflow, ProRes proxies, on-set data wrangler. Flagship brand films and theatrical delivery.

The small print, without the small-print feel.

How much does drone photography cost in Charlotte?

For a home, it depends on square footage and what you need shot. Photos start at $295, an FPV drone tour at $395, the two together with aerials, a floor plan, and a 3D tour at $595, and the cinematic Elite package at $995. Each scales up the square-footage ladder above, and every rate at every size is published on this page. Commercial work starts at $400 for ground or aerial stills, $600 for an FPV walkthrough, and $1,000 for all three. Venues start at $1,200. Production runs $1,750 per day.

Do you charge hourly or per project?

Per project, never hourly. An hourly rate punishes you for a property that needs a second pass and tells you nothing before the invoice arrives. Residential is a flat rate off the published square-footage ladder, so a 3,400 sqft listing costs the same whoever shoots it and whatever the weather does. Commercial and venue work is quoted per project off a published starting menu. Production is the one exception and runs as a day rate, which is how the rest of a film crew is booked.

What are typical drone photography rates in the Charlotte market?

Most Charlotte operators quote $250 to $500 for a basic aerial photo set and $500 to $900 once video is involved, and most of them do not publish it, so you find out after the call. Our rates sit inside that band and are on this page instead. The place the math changes is bundling: hiring a photographer, a drone operator, and a floor plan vendor separately for one listing typically runs around $789, versus $595 for the same deliverables in the Standard package.

What's included in each residential package?

Photo includes HDR interior + exterior stills, a 2D floor plan from a CubiCasa scan, and an interactive 3D tour. Drone Tour is a solo FPV indoor flythrough with both the MLS cut and a vertical Reels version. Standard combines both: FPV tour, photos, exterior aerials, floor plan, 3D tour, and 2 virtual twilights. Elite adds a cinematic property video with licensed music, extended aerial sequences, and on-site creative direction. It is a second shoot on a camera and gimbal, not a recut of the drone tour, and there is a side-by-side of the two on /residential. Every package delivers in 24 hours.

How does square-footage pricing work?

Every package is priced by the square-footage range of the listing: Under 2k, 2–3k, 3–4k, 4–5k, 5–6k, 6–7k, and 7k+. The full ladder is in the table above and is also what you see at booking. Listings larger than 7,000 sqft are quoted directly so the scope matches the property.

Can I add the ANSI / GLA floor plan to any package?

Yes. The standard floor plan included with Photo and Standard is a marketing visualization that includes every room and area we can scan, including non-living spaces. The ANSI / GLA add-on ($125) is a separate, certified report produced to the ANSI Z765-2021 standard and is suitable for the MLS gross living area field.

How does the bundle math compare to hiring three vendors?

A typical Charlotte three-vendor stack runs about $789 (photographer ~$189 + drone op ~$250 + videographer ~$350). The Standard package at $595 covers all of that plus the FPV indoor flythrough, an interactive 3D tour, and a custom property website that none of the three traditional vendors usually include. The per-tier "replaces ~$X" microcopy under each card above shows the line-item math.

Do commercial projects follow the same tiers?

No. Commercial, venue, and production work are scoped individually. Location, interior vs exterior mix, deliverables, and timeline vary too much for a fixed tier. What is published is where each line starts: ground / interior photography from $400, standalone aerial photography with a commercial license from $400, an FPV walkthrough from $600, and the full package with all three from $1,000. Venues run on their own two-part structure: showcase from $1,200 and event-day coverage from $1,750, because a venue is every event space rather than a single property. Send scope, receive a quote and proposed shoot date within 24 hours.

Do I need to be at the property?

No. Lockbox, CentralShowing code, or a simple key handoff works. Most residential shoots happen without the agent on-site. Property is left exactly as we found it.

What about revisions?

Two rounds included on every package: shot selection, music swap, pacing adjustments, and small re-edits. Additional rounds $95/hr. Revision window is 5 days from delivery.

What if the weather is bad?

We reschedule at no cost for rain, sustained high winds, or low visibility. You'll hear from us the evening before if conditions look marginal. No fee for weather-related moves.

Are you insured? Can you provide a COI?

$1M liability policy. FAA Part 107 certified pilots. Certificate of insurance with additional insured endorsement available on request, usually same-day.

Who owns the footage?

You receive a non-exclusive license to use every deliverable on MLS, your brokerage or business website, your social media, paid advertising, and printed marketing for the specific listing it was produced for. OSDT retains copyright and the right to show work in our portfolio. Full terms on the /terms page.
