How an OSDT shoot actually goes.

Step by step from confirmation through delivery and the revision window. Written for first-time clients who want to know what they are signing up for before they book.

  1. 24 to 48 hours out

    Before the shoot

    • Booking confirmation email lands within an hour of the portal flow.
    • Prep checklist email goes out 24-48 hours before. Counters cleared, beds made, every interior light on, ceiling fans off, cars off the driveway.
    • Lockbox or CentralShowing code confirmed in writing so we are not chasing access on shoot day.
    • If the seller wants to be there, that is fine. If not, lockbox + you not on-site is the most common case.
  2. Time varies by package

    Shoot day

    • Arrive within the booked window. 5-minute property walk to map the FPV route and check for ceiling fans, mirrors, soft furnishings.
    • Drone Tour shoot: 15-20 minutes setup plus about 15 minutes of FPV filming. Total time on-site under 45 minutes.
    • Standard package shoot: about 1.5 hours on-site. FPV flythrough, HDR interior + exterior stills, exterior aerial photos, CubiCasa scan, twilight setup. The full kit takes longer because each deliverable gets its own time.
    • Property left exactly as we found it. Lights set back to default, fans off if they were off, doors closed.
  3. Same evening + overnight

    Editing

    • HDR photos color-graded and exported in MLS-ready file sizes plus high-res masters.
    • FPV cuts assembled (MLS landscape + vertical Reels), licensed music synced, color grade pass.
    • CubiCasa scan processed into the interactive tour with photo markers placed.
    • Virtual twilights rendered on Standard. Custom property website populated with all assets.
  4. Within 24 hours

    Delivery

    • Aryeo media portal email with every asset organized by type. MLS-ready files, social cuts, full-resolution masters, embed links.
    • Custom property website live, branded and unbranded versions.
    • Direct downloads available for individual assets.
    • Elite cinematic edits run 2 to 4 days because of the color grade and music sync. Same-day rush available on request with surcharge.
  5. 5-day window from delivery

    Revisions

    • Two free revision rounds: shot selection swaps, music changes, pacing adjustments, small re-edits.
    • Additional rounds run $95 per hour. In practice, revisions are rarely requested.
    • Window opens at delivery and stays open for 5 days. Reply to the delivery email with the changes you want.
  6. Anytime

    After

    • If you are happy with the work, we will ask for a Google review or a written quote and headshot for the site. That is the only ask.
    • We use the work in our portfolio per the terms unless explicitly excluded at booking.
    • For repeat-volume agents (4+ shoots a month), the monthly retainer takes a flat 15% off every package.
( Process · FAQ )

What agents and sellers ask first about the shoot.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Most Charlotte listings book 24 to 72 hours out for a Standard package. Same-day and next-day shoots are possible if our schedule has the slot. Hospitality, commercial, and Elite cinematic shoots usually need a week or more for scheduling, scope confirmation, and any LAANC pre-authorization on Class B or D airspace.

Does the seller or agent need to be on-site during the shoot?

No, in most cases. Lockbox or CentralShowing code is the standard access path. We arrive at the confirmed time, shoot the property, lock up, and send the agent a confirmation when we leave. If the seller prefers to be there, that's fine. We coordinate with stagers and groundskeepers directly so the agent does not have to be the routing point.

How long does a typical shoot take on-site?

About 1.5 hours for a Standard package on a typical 1,800-2,500 sqft Charlotte listing because of the full kit (FPV flythrough plus HDR photos plus exterior aerials plus CubiCasa scan plus virtual twilights). The Drone Tour standalone is faster: 15 to 20 minutes setup plus about 15 minutes of flight time, under 45 minutes total. Larger luxury homes (5,000+ sqft) run 2 to 3 hours.

When are files delivered?

24-hour delivery on Photo, Drone Tour, and Standard packages. Shoot Tuesday afternoon, MLS-ready files in your inbox Wednesday afternoon. Elite cinematic runs 48 to 72 hours because of the edit and color grade. Files arrive in a private branded gallery on the Aryeo portal, with download links per format (full-resolution MLS, web-resized social, raw video cuts).

What happens if the weather does not cooperate on shoot day?

Rescheduling for weather is built into the engagement. You do not pay for a re-fly when conditions blow up the original pass. We watch the forecast 48 hours out and shift the shoot if the morning of looks bad. Light rain we usually still shoot interior. Heavy rain, high winds, or hail we coordinate with you to push, typically by 24 hours.

Do you provide direction to the seller or agent during the shoot?

Yes. On FPV walkthrough shoots specifically, the agent or seller stages the route walk-through with us before we fly so the path through the home flows naturally. On photo shoots, we adjust staging in real-time (open blinds, position towels, hide remotes) and walk the agent through what each frame is showing. The shoot is collaborative, not a drop-off.

How do revisions work?

Two free revision rounds are included on every package. Revisions cover shot selection, music swap, pacing on video edits, and small re-edits on individual photos. The revision window is 5 days from delivery. Additional rounds beyond two run $95/hr.
